The International secretariat of Ati Annang Foundation in Nigeria has released a statement that HE Chief (Dr.) Governor Godswill Akpabio, has been invited as the special guest of honor at the Inauguration of its newest chapter in North America on June 29 - 30, 2012.  In a message to the chairman of the USA Chapter, Prof. Ezekiel Ette, the International president of the organization, Engr. Etido Inyang said that the governor has been invited to the event.

Ati-Annang Foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to unite the Annang people with other ethnic groups in Akwa Ibom State and work towards the development of the community. The organization has chapters in many cities in nigeria, Africa and around the world including chapters in Pretoria, South Africa and London, England. The organization  that began in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in 1996 has seen a tremendous growth under the leadership of Engr. Etido Inyang who is the current president. Last year, the Uk Chapter was inaugurated in London and saw a delegation of leaders of Akwa Esop Ima isong ibibio in attendance.
